At UFCU, we collect, retain, and use information about you so we can better serve your financial needs and maintain account relationships with you.

Disclosure to parties that provide services to us

Our Web site does not require you to disclose any personally identifying information. If, however, you choose to contact us via e‑mail, please keep in mind that your e‑mail address, and any other information your e‑mail header shows about you, such as your name or organization, will be revealed to us in the e‑mail. We will use your e‑mail information only for the specific purpose of responding to your comments or questions. Your e‑mail address will not be sold, nor will it be shared with others outside the credit union unless we are compelled to do so by law.

Employees and Privacy

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information. Our employees are educated on the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of all member information. All employees are bonded and are personally responsible for keeping member information confidential.

Our Web Server

Our Web server does not recognize information regarding the domain or email address of visitors to the site and we do not gather information on our site's users.

Our Web Site

As a visitor to our Web site, you need not be concerned about the privacy of your personal information. Our site is not designed to collect personally identifying data on visitors.

We do not gather information on individual users on our Web site. We do collect and store information about the name of the domain from which you access the Internet, such as Aol.com or Earthlink.net; the date and time you access our site, and the Internet address of the Web site from which you linked to us. Other than that, we collect information on visitors only in the aggregate and use it for internal review purposes only. This information simply enables us to tell which areas of the site are of most interest to our users, which avenues of site promotion are most effective, and when peak usage times are.

Member‑Only Areas

Personal identification (i.e.: PINs, passwords, account numbers) is collected when you have registered to enter the secure online banking and bill paying areas of our Website. This information enables us to regulate access to your accounts and prevent unauthorized uses.

Planning Tools

Throughout various areas of our Website you will find calculators and planning tools. These are designed to help you make financial decisions based on your own particular situations. These planning tools can be very helpful in making a personal decision and we encourage you to use them often. They are designed for educational purposes only and we cannot guarantee their complete accuracy. We do not capture personal information entered into these tools.
