The Englewood Cliffs Fire Department greatly appreciates your donation. This past year and a half have been a very challenging time for our Department due to the pandemic. We were unable to hold our annual Pancake Breakfast and other fundraising events that support the ECFD as well as the community.

Credit Union CEO Jim Kopfensteiner presenting the grant to Jeremy Bosch, Musician/Composer/Producer

I want to take this moment and thank, from the bottom of my heart, the Unilever Federal Credit Union and The Federal Home Loan Bank of New York for the amazing gesture of considering an independent artist such as myself for this grant.  My colleagues in the arts as well as my friends and family know that I have poured out my entire life into music and I will continue to do so for the rest of my life.  I would also like to say that the fact doesn’t escape me for a second that many other musicians suffered greatly during the 2020 year and still do because of the worldwide pandemic caused by Covid-19.
I am currently producing 2 albums for 2 amazing artists as well as my third album “Epílogo: La Clave del Tiempo” which will be released in the spring of 2022 so this grant definitely helps in an immense way in order for me to finish these projects in the desired timelines.

MT Pleasant Animal Shelter

194 State Route 10 West
East Hanover, NJ 07936

For 50 years, Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter (MPAS) has been providing exceptional care for homeless animals. Every year they help approximately 1,000 animals find loving homes.
MPAS’s mission is to build a community of people and organizations working together to save today’s, and prevent tomorrow’s, abused, neglected, and homeless animals.
They partner with shelters around the country to save at risk animals from being euthanized. MPAS never euthanizes any animal for time or space reasons. Adoptable animals reside at their shelter until they find their forever home.

Alison Haight, Development Manager
Lorri Caffrey, Executive Director
Jessica Garrison, Shelter Manager

It is with great appreciation that I extend thanks on behalf of Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter (MPAS). Unilever Federal Credit Union and The Federal Home Loan Bank of New York have supported MPAS significantly, the impact of which will save many lives. When COVID-19 struck, MPAS suffered greatly. We struggled to provide medical care and food to our amazing shelter pets. However, we persevered and continued to provide exceptional care. This grant from Unilever Federal Credit Union will relieve MPAS during these difficult times and allow us to transform care for our animals and our community.

MPAS is a community-based organization, focused on animal welfare, that values compassion, personal accountability, and integrity. Our highest priority for the past 50 years has been to provide the best care for our animals—and you are helping to make that possible. This grant will also extend from the animals we shelter to the community.  While we work diligently every day to find homes for our adoptable animals, we must take into consideration their behavioral, dietary, medical, and environmental needs. Your support will help MPAS provide this overall care to improve quality of life for each animal we serve.

With the support of Unilever Federal Credit Union, MPAS will continue its mission to build a community of partners to save abused, neglected, and abandoned animals. Together, we can save more lives.

Thank you for your generous support.

The Onyx & Breezy Foundation
160 Summit Avenue
Montvale, NJ 07645

The Onyx & Breezy Foundation is a nonprofit formed in 2005.  100% OF ALL OUR DONATIONS GO DIRECTLY TO HELP OUR ANIMALS.  They provide funding for animal organizations throughout the United states and individuals who cannot afford medical treatment for their pets.

They have in the past funded a plane to Puerto Rico after the storm where they bought supplies there and 70 animals back.  They have purchased bulletproof vests for K-9’s of the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office & cooling vests for the army’s  K-9’s in Afghanistan.  One of their latest projects is to fund reuniting our soldiers who have come home with their pets that they had to leave in Afghanistan.

On behalf of our organization, I would like to thank the Unilever Federal Credit Union, The Federal Home Loan Bank of NY & the many volunteers like Angelica and Carlo who help make the grants possible.
The COVI-19 Pandemic made it near impossible for nonprofits to raise funds through fundraising events and your grant allows us to continue to help the animals who can’t help themselves.
As many animal owners themselves had greater hardship, because of the pandemic, it magnified the requests for help for their animals.
Your grant would give us the ability to fund many more projects and save many more fur babies.

We can’t thank you enough for the grant that was awarded to us. It still feels surreal. We would firstly like to thank The Federal Home Bank of New York for selecting our small business for this award. We would secondly like to thank the Unilever Federal Credit Union for all of their help and support through this process of applying. The funds from this grant will be utilized to hire a new employee and pay for the repairs of our delivery trucks and storage units. We greatly appreciate this grant as our business was severely impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic and this will help us on the path of recovery.
